A “little bit” about Dab O’Glory

Gloria Cumpston holds a degree in music therapy and worked as a teacher in Special Education at Chisholm Middle School until retirement. Now, she is the teen librarian at the Enid Public Library. Gloria takes care of booking dates for the group. She is married to Chuck Cumpston and they have a son Eddie, who will graduate from NWOSU in May.

Dale Gillham has spent his entire life singing in various music groups from barbershop quartets to gospel. Currently, he is a member of the chancel choir, bell choir, and several committees at New Hope. He is a retired firefighter with the Enid Fire Department.  Dale and his wife Leigh Ann have two children and two grandsons.

Debbie Hart began her musical career at the early age of 8 and continued throughout her college years. She plays piano and organ at New Hope as well as singing in the choir, participating in United Methodist Women and is a Sunday School teacher. She retired from teaching after 29 years at Emerson Jr. High. Her husband is Chuck Hart.

Jim Hudson is a member of the choir and directs the bell choir. The business manager of the group, Jim is equally at home on the stage as an actor and director. He has several plays to his credit, many of them with Enid’s Gaslight Theater. He is a retired postal worker. His wife is Nancy, and they have 5 children as well as 4 grandchildren and a great-grandchild.

Jerry Tucker is the pianist, arranger, and part-time vocalist in the group. He has worked in various churches as music minister as well as teaching at the high school and college level. Jerry holds a doctorate in music and has been an army bandmaster, trumpet soloist, and member of numerous gospel groups with over 1500 hours of recording time to his credit. Jerry enjoys being a guest artist on gospel concerts and doing church workshops. His wife is Tamra, and they have 2 daughters and 4 grandchildren.
